Green Coco Smoothie
If you’re looking for something green, yet creamy and indulgent, this Green Coco might just be the answer :) Combination of coconut milk, flaxseeds and frozen fruit and veg makes it extra creamy and delicious. But it’s not only about the taste- this smoothie is packed with protein, healthy fats and lots of fiber also.
You could also up your protein game by trying to add extra spoon of hemp seeds or a bit of unflavored protein powder (you may want to adjust the liquid amounts if you do so).
Serving: serves 1
2/3 cups of coconut milk
1/3 cups of coconut water (or sub water)
2 large handfuls of fresh or frozen spinach
1/2 frozen banana
1/4 of avocado
1 tbsp of ground flaxseed
Optional: sprinkle some seeds or granola on top!
Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend well until smooth. Adjust the liquid amounts to desired consistency (it is quite a thick smoothie). Best enjoyed immediately! (PS- on a hot day, add a few ice cubes!).
